Warren Glenn “Diggy Doo” Texada, Sr., age 61, of Bunkie

   BUNKIE-  Funeral services for Warren Glenn “Diggy Doo” Texada, Sr., were held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church of Bunkie, where Pastor Greg Jackson officiated. Burial followed in Simpson Cemetery under the direction of Progressive Funeral Home of Bunkie.
    Diggy Doo, age 61, of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at his residence surrounded by family.
    He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, attended Carver High School and was employed at O’Leary Sign Company and Sammy’s Truck Stop.
    On April 25, 1981, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Margaret Nell Pete and to this union three loving children were born.
    He leaves to cherish precious memories are his wife, Margaret Nell Texada of Bunkie; two sons, Warren (Royesha) Glenn Texada Jr., of Simmesport, and Brandon Texada of Bunkie; one daughter, Cynthia Texada of Cottonport; four brothers, Eddie Roy Texada of Bunkie, Roger (Ollie Rae) Texada, Jr. of Bunkie, Frank Charles Texada of Bunkie, and Darrell Texada of Bunkie, one sister, Erma (Al) Lee Ghoram of Zachary; three grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Lee E. Pete; two brothers-in-law, Douglas Pete of Bunkie and Arthur Johnson of Bunkie; a very devoted friend, Kendrick Hawkins of Cheneyville; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Pallbearers were: Randeall Stevens, Ronald Pete, Anthony Stevens, Ron Green, Jamie Texada, and Kendrick Hawkins.
