Daisy Gaspard Bernard, age 93, of Brouillette

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am for Daisy Gaspard Bernard on Monday, November 7, 2016 at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Brouillette with Father Jose Pallipurath officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Bernard, age 93, of Brouillette, passed away at Valley View Nursing Home in Marksville, LA on Friday, November 4, 2016.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers, seven sisters and her husband, Edwis Bernard.

She is survived by one son, Lennox Bernard and his wife Sue of Brouillette; one daughter, Gloria Coco and her husband Chester of Marksville; 6 grandchildren;12 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. 

  Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers.
