Tornado Warning Lifted

As of 9:15PM, the Tornado Warning for Avoyelles Parish has been lifted.  The current severe weather threat looks to be diminishing at this time.  The parish remains under a thunderstorm warning until 9:30 and a tornado watch until 3:00AM.  There is another line of storms forming just northwest of Alexandria that goes to Leesville.  Those storms are moving southeast at 55 MPH. 

At 9:15, the 911 Center in Mansura says there have been no reports of damage called into the 911 center.  If other warnings are posted in the next few hours, we will update this message.
