Randy Paul Lacombe age 55, of Effie

Funeral Services for Mr. Randy Paul Lacombe, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, with Fr. Wade DeCoste officiating. Burial will be held in Vick Baptist Cemetery in Vick, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Lacombe, age 55, of Effie, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 12, 206 in his residence surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his father, James Marion Lacombe, father in law, Gerald Beaubouef, paternal grandparents, Leonard Jr. and Aline Lacombe, maternal grandparents, Willard and Lucille Deville.

Randy graduated from Marksville High School in 1979, and then went on to graduate from ULL in 1983 with a B.S. in Industrial Technology. Randy worked eleven years at Shell Oil Company then went on to purchase Quality Lumber. He was a loyal and honorable man of great faith, who lived out his faith on a daily basis and helped others. Randy’s Devotion, loyalty and connection with his wife and children was tremendous and the relationships that he cherished and shared with his family and friends were true, deep, and unwaving.

Randy was an avid hunter who promoted safety of the sport to the youth of Avoyelles Parish. He became a volunteer as a Hunter Education Instructor with the L.D.W.F. He was also a lifetime supporter and member of Ducks Unlimited. Randy was also a Third Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 9294.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have known and loved him and will hold on fiercely to his memory we are clinging to our faith and hope in the promise of being reunited one day with our husband, father, and true friend, Randy.

Randy Paul Lacombe, is survived by his loving wife of 20 Years, Michele Beaubouef Lacombe, three sons, Tucker Lacombe 18, Tyler Lacombe 14, and Tanner Lacombe 10, his mother, Ina Deville Lacombe, mother in law, Eva Rae Beaubouef, three brothers, Gary Lacombe and wife Lynette, Patrick Lacombe and wife Donna, James “Boosie” Lacombe, two brother in laws, Nathan Beaubouef, Adam Beaubouef and wife Donna, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are, Scott Tassin, Craig Laborde, Brent Scallan, Larry Sayes, Alan Williams, and Scott Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Rodney St. Romain, Mike Lemoine, Elster Smith, Sr., and Roy Rabalais.

Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of Services. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
