MARKSVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Paul Joseph Moreau will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville with Father Thomas Paul officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum #2 in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until shortly before funeral service.
Mr. Moreau, age 90, of Marksville, passed away at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville on Thursday, October 27, 2016. He was born on January 9, 1926.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Estelle Michot Moreau; brothers, Eugene Moreau, Jules Moreau, Alvin Moreau, Mervin Moreau; sister, Neddie M. Gormsen; and his twin sister, Pauline Fontaine.
Those left to cherish his memory include numerous nieces and nephews.
