Henry "Cowboy" McKinley, Jr. age 94 of Mansura

Funeral services for Henry "Cowboy" McKinley, Jr. of Mansura will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Christian Family Worship Center in Mansura with Pastor Mark Crawford officiating. Visitation will take place at Christian Family Worship Center from 9am – 11am on Monday, May 11, 2015. Burial will be held at the Christian Family Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Henry McKinley, Jr., affectionately known as Cowboy, was born to Henry McKinley, Sr. and Sarah Harris in Donaldsonville, LA on March 30, 1921. He married Sable Mary Batiste, and to this union 9 children were born. He is preceded in death by the eldest child.
Henry professed his faith to Jesus Christ at an early age. He was very serious about being on God’s battleground and told everyone he came in contact with that they needed to be born again. He helped the poor, fed the hungry, and visited the sick.
On May 5, 2015, God called Henry home from his many years of labor.

He also has 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
