Winston James Gaspard, age 82, of Brouillette

Services for Mr. Winston James Gaspard will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Father Thomas Paul officiating. Interment will be in Cushman Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Gaspard, age 82, of Brouillette, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Riviere de Soleil Community Center in Mansura. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florien and Josephine Sayer Gaspard; brother, John Allen Bordelon; sisters, Addie Stanfield, Nora Dauzat, Mary Lachney, Sybil Hilton, Lilly Laprairie, and Della Bordelon.
Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Cynthia Rabalais (Darrell) of Plaucheville, Roxanne Gaspard (Clay Normand) of Cottonport; one sister, Daisy Bernard of Marksville, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Monday in the Chapel.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Clay Normand, John McClung, Darrell Rabalais, Will Rabalais, and Kevin Poret.
