MARKSVILLE - Memorial services for Mr. Vernon Lewis Batiste will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Church for Deliverance Outreach in Marksville with Pastor June Barton officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Batiste, age 52, of Marksville, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was born on July 22, 1964.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ellen Corner Batiste.
Those left to cherish her memory include his brother, Curtis Alton Batiste of Alexandria, numerous family and many friends.
