Verna Lee Marcotte Turner, age 82, of Bunkie

BUNKIE - Graveside Memorial Services for Verna Lee Marcotte Turner will be Friday, April 17, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Garden Catacomb Mausoleum in Pythian Cemetery with Rev. Scott Chemino officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

 

Mrs. Turner, age 82, of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 1, 1932.

 

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and was a retired Morgan and Lindsey sales clerk. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Turner; three sisters, Lorena Lindsey, Velma Marcotte and Irene Grevis; two brothers, Nelson Marcotte and Morris Marcotte; and a nephew, Ryan Aymond, Jr.

 

She is survived by three sisters, Lillian Thibodeaux of Bunkie, JoAnn (Wiley) Moreau of Cottonport and June (Ryan) Aymond of Bunkie; her sister-in-law, Jackie T. (Rick) Henderson of Bunkie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
