Todd Anthony Mayeaux, 48, of Hackett

Todd Anthony Mayeaux, 48, of Hackett passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Todd was born Dec. 8, 1966, in Alexandria, La. He was a technical sergeant E-6 employed with the 188th Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard and served four tours of duty overseas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Lutz; father, Myron Mayeaux; and a brother, Brandon Mayeaux.

He is survived by his wife, Renee of the home; two daughters, Kendra Campbell of Hackett and Amber Thornton and husband Ted of Greenwood; a granddaughter, Khloe Campbell; a stepmother, Linda Mayeaux of Bridge City, Texas; two cousins (but more like a brother and a sister), Chris Villemarette of Cyprus, Texas, and Charlene Rico of Bunkie, La.; and a godson, Cullen Villemarette.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rock Island Community Freewill Baptist Church with interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Todd’s brothers in arms, Matt Jones, Drew Duncan, Chris Flannigan and Matt Johnston; and nephews, Aaron Moody and Ruben Moody. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Villemarette, Alex Moody, Jarrett Sebo and all the members of the 188th Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard.
