Thelma Ann Heath, age 80 of Goudeau

Funeral services for Thelma Ann Heath, will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church in Goudeau. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service beginning at 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Burial will commence at the Antioch Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Heath, known as “Sangoo”, age 80, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville on Sunday, January 24, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Leanner Jacobs Heath; two sisters, Ivy Roy and Mary Celestine; and two brothers, Willie Heath and Samuel Pete Heath.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kaffey Heath (Craig) Hood of Alexandria; her five sons: Wilson Heath of Mansura, Lawrence (Christine) Heath of Cottonport, Cole Andy (Natasha) Heath of Hessmer, Samuel (Antoinette) Heath of Houston, Texas, and Allen Ray (Cynthia) Heath of Crosby, Texas; five sisters, Dorothy Allen of Alexandria, Betty (Bobby) Heath of Monroe, Rosemary Kemper of Kinder, Elma Heath of Bunkie, and Ida Wycoff of Mansura; three brothers, Curray (Mary) Heath of Marksville, Berry (Gilda) Heath of Mansura, and Elijah (Betty) Heath of Melville; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
