Ruth Hines Rabalais, age 90, of Covington, formally of Marksville

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Hines Rabalais will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Hixson Brother Funeral Home in Marksville with Reverend Dennis Hackler officiating. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Rabalais, age 90, of Covington, formally of Marksville, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Regency Hospital in Covington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abel Rabalais, six brothers, Hardey Hines, Henry Hines, L.C. Hines, Hurd Hines, Brian Hines, Ray Hines, Three sisters, Evie Hines Johnette, Verna Hines Lowe, Leona Hines Deville.

Survivors include three sons, Stephen Rabalais and wife Kathleen of Hessmer, Arthur Rabalais of Marksville, Robin Rabalais of Marksville, one daughter, Cindy Simpson and husband Roger of Covington, three grandchildren Heather Rabalais Weber, Lauren Ruth Simpson, Regan Faye Simpson, and one great grandchild, Benjamin Joseph Weber.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville.
