Marvin Anthony Harris, age 64, of Marksville

Funeral services for Mr. Marvin Anthony Harris will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at First Congregational Baptist Church, 215 Legion Drive, Marksville, LA with Pastor Michael Gonzales officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Legion Drive, Marksville, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Harris, age 64, of Marksville, passed away at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Irene Leveige Harris.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Mary Frank Harris of Marksville, two daughters, Lacy Harris of Baton Rouge, Valarie Harris Warfield and husband Alan of San Antonio, TX, one brother, James “JoBoy” Harris of Baton Rouge, and one grandchild, Josalyn Harris.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at First Congregational Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
