Louis "Doug" Douglas White age 87 of Cottonport

Funeral services for Louis "Doug" Douglas White will be held on Tuesday December 8, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Father Jose Robles Sanchez officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's #2 Mausoleum in Cottonport. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service in the church.
Louis Douglas White, age 87 and a resident of Cottonport, died December 5, 2015 in Rapides Medical Center in Alexandria. Mr. White served his country in USAF during the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Ada White; bothers, Huey and Monroe White, Jr.; and a great grandson, Jack Loutzenhiser. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amy Brassette White of Cottonport; daughters, Lisa Callegari (Dick) of Chattanooga, TN, Stacia Vincent (Peter) of Kaplan, LA and Abigail Bray (Brian) of Hixson, TN; sons, Brett White (Amy) of Houston, TX, Kyle White (Judy) of Katy, TX and Jeff White (Patti) of Pineville; half sister, Phyllis Flynn of Tioga; half brother, Billy Hoppe of Pineville; fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
