Lillian Gaspard Grantadams, age 82, of Echo

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Lillian Gaspard Grantadams at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Jason Gootee officiating. Interment will follow in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Kramer of Fifth Ward from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and will resume on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Kramer Chapel.

Lillian Gaspard Grantadams, 82 of Echo, formerly of Winnfield, LA, passed away peacefully in her residence on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Grantadams; her parents, Joseph and Irene Gaspard; her brothers, Foster and Pierson Gaspard; sisters, Daisy Goux, and Viney and Verma Guillot; and those she loved as brother and sisters, Herman and May Russell Grantadams, Sr, and Shirley Morris.

Lillian was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Winnfield. She taught Catechism, baked for all the meals and took on many other projects wherever she was needed. Her favorite pastime was fishing and hunting with her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going on all of the family vacations.

Those left to cherish her memory include those she loved as her sisters and brothers, Katherine Grantadams of Winnfield, Landry and Dotris LaCombe, Carl Morris, Hilda and Allen Lacombe, and Ron and Diana Roe all of Echo. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Herman Grantadams, Jr., Wayne Smith, Ronald LaCombe, Michael Morris, Scott Roe and Heath Dauzat.
