Joseph Ronnie Kyle age 45 of New Orleans, Louisiana, a native of Cottonport

COTTONPORT, LA- Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Ronnie Kyle will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at the Little Zion Baptist Church in Long Bridge, Louisiana, where Reverend Vernon Simon will officiate.  A public viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday morning.  A military setting burial follow at the Little Zion Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robinson Family Mortuary of Pineville, LA.
 Mr. Kyle, age 45 of New Orleans, Louisiana, a native of Cottonport, Louisiana, departed this life on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at his residence.
 Joseph was born on October 8, 1969, in Pineville, Louisiana, to the late Gertie Johnson Kyle and the late Isaac Kyle, Sr. At a youthful age, he was baptized by the late Reverend P.N. Blackman at the Little Zion Baptist Church.
 A 1988 graduate of Mansura High School, Joseph enlisted into the United States Army on December 27, 1989. He served our country with distinction for four (4) years, and received an honorable discharge on December 20, 1993.
 Throughout his adulthood, Joseph labored as an electrical technician. In March 2013, he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. While residing there, he united with the Antioch Community Church under the leadership of Reverend Larry Haynes. At the time of his passing, Joseph was employed at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased into the eternal by one sister, Debbie Marie Kyle; his maternal grandparents, Virgia Martin Johnson and Henry Johnson; and his paternal grandparents, Sarah Solomon Kyle and Louis Kyle.
The hourglass of earthly time expired on Joseph Ronnie Kyle on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at his residence in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Survivors include his children, Cordeisha Prater of Cottonport, LA, Joseph Hayes of Alexandria, LA, Kanatra Hayes of Alexandria, LA, and Marquelle Prater of Cottonport, LA; four (4) brothers, Tony Kyle of Cottonport, LA, Isaac Kyle, Jr. (Carolyn) of Alexandria, LA, Larry Kyle (Gwendolyn) of Bunkie, LA, and Jonathan Kyle of Hessmer, LA; two (2) sisters, Angie Kyle and Anita Kyle, both of Cottonport, LA; three (3) uncles, Paul Johnson of Moreauville, LA, Johnnie Johnson and Edison Kyle, both of Cottonport, LA; two (2) aunts, Cecile Williams and Dolly Smoot, both of Cottonport, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers honored to serve will be John Kyle, Jr., Damien Prater,
Terry Kyle, Jay Prater, Velvon Kyle, and Travis Prater.
