Joseph "Joe" Juneau, age 80, of Mansura

Funeral services for Joseph ''Joe'' Juneau of Mansura will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 beginning at 11am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 beginning at 5pm until 9pm and will resume Friday morning at 8am at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Rosary wake service will be held at 7pm on Thursday. Interment will be held at the St. Paul the Apostle Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Joseph ''Joe'' Juneau, age 80, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit & Eloise Juneau and brothers, Ricky Juneau and John Patrick Juneau.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Janet Juneau of Mansura; son, John J. Juneau of Plaucheville; daughters, Amie McLain of Mansura, Tina Warren of Mansura, and Jane Douglas of Lafayette; sisters, Annie Hanks of Whitney, Tx, Betty Jean Luke of Dayton, Tx, Jo Ann Hutchins of Dayton, Tx, Beverly Crawford of Houston, Tx, and Sandra Billings of Lake Jackson, Tx; brothers, Johnny Juneau of Dayton, Tx and Bobby Juneau of Houston, Tx. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Joseph Juneau was a graduate of Louisiana School of the Deaf in Baton Rouge in 1956. He and his wife were owners and proprietors of Jan & Joe's Beauty Shop and Baton Rouge Grocery. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed dearly.
