Donald Lachney, Sr. age 64 of Marksville

Funeral services will be held for Donald Lachney,Sr. on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, La. with Rev. Jacob Crawford officiating. Interment will be in Cushman. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Lachney, age 64, of Marksville, passed away at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La. On Tuesday, November 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his Parents Cilton and Mae Dauzat Lachney, two brothers J.C. Lachney and Bufford Lachney, two sisters Lolita Hariford and Ruth Fountain.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years Kim Lachney, son Donald Lacney, Jr. and his wife Skyla of Opelousas, daughter Susan Mary Lachney of Youngsville, sister Vivian Littleton and husband Ezra, 3 step-sons Kevin Gaspard and wife Sara of Mansura; Justin Gaspard and wife Ashley of Fifth Ward; Cody Gaspard and wife Maranda of Marksville 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will Donald Lachney, Jr., Brandon Lachney, Gabriel Lachney, Kevin Gasprd, Justin Gaspard, Cody Gaspard. Serving as honorary will be Keith Gaspard.

Mr. T-Don was the owner of Don’s Mechanic Shop in Fifth Ward.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2016 in the chapel from 5:00pm until service time Wednesday.
