Bernadine Dauzat, age 72, of Clearwater, Florida

FIFTH WARD - A  graveside service for Bernadine Dauzat will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. followed by a short blessing for her son, Richard Brouillette and parents, Pauline and Cyril Dauzat. The service will be held at the Fifth Ward Cemetery #2 in Fifth Ward. A mass in loving memory of Bernadine, Richard, Pauline and Cyril will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Fifth Ward at the church’s regular 4:00 p.m. mass. The services and mass will be presided by Father Kwebaza.
Bernadine Dauzat, age 72, passed away at her home in Clearwater, Florida, on Thursday, November 14, 2013. She was born on June 22, 1941. Bernadine was previously a longtime resident of Jennings, Pineville and Fifth Ward, where she was raised.
Bernadine (Berna) was a spunky, charming and quick witted woman who loved to travel, square dance and spend time with family and friends. An avid reader who particularly liked National Geographic and Time magazines, she was also a music buff and a fan of classic movies. She was an adept crafter, often working with her sister on projects like handmade victorian lampshades and Christmas decorations.
She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Brouillette; parents, Cyril and Pauline Dauzat; and two siblings, Oline Laborde Richard and Samuel Dauzat.
Ms. Brouillette is survived by three sons, Phillip (Tina) Brouillette of St. Martinville, Bruce (Mark Arnold) Brouillette of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Michael (Kristy) Brouillette of Chico, Texas; four granddaughters, Brandy Brouillette of St. Martinville, Jamey Brouillette of St. Martinville, Beth Brouillette of Chico, Texas, and Hailey Brouillette of Chico, Texas; three grandsons, Richard Brouillette, of Chico, Texas, Hunter Brouillette of Chico, Texas, and Derek Brouillette of Mansura; and two great-grandsons, Derek Jr. and Jacob.
