Benjamin Franklin Parker, age 83, of Center Point

Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin Franklin Parker will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Brother Ken Hudson officiating. Interment will be in French Cemetery in Effie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Parker, age 83, of Center Point, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Oak Haven Community Center in Center Point. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boone and Nezzie Jones Parker.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 62 years, Jimmie P. Parker of Center Point; two sons, James Keith Parker of Marksville, Timothy Franklin Parker and wife Donna of Benton, LA; two daughters, Vickye Elizabeth Breaux of Houma, Christie Lynn Retiff of Fifth Ward; one sister, Nettie Pearl Giainninni of Redding, Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m.
