Agnes McKinley age 93 of Mansura

Funeral services for Agnes McKinley of Mansura will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 beginning at 10 am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 beginning at 5:30pm until 10pm and will reopen Tuesday morning from 8am until the time of service at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura. Interment will commence in the St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Agnes McKinley, age 93, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Hessmer Nursing Home. Agnes was employed at Avoyelles Parish School System for 15 years. She was also a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, St. Peter Clavar and Our Lady of Prompt Succor Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaih McKinley, Sr.; sons, Marshall McKinley, Gregory McKinley, Isaih McKinley, Jr., Michael McKinley; parents, Paulin & Regina Batiste Sampson; brother, Peter Sampson; sister, Celina Sampson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert McKinley, Donald McKinley and Glenn McKinley all of Mansura; daughters, Sarah Burnette of Rialto, CA, Shirley Jackson of Mansfield, WA, Barbara McKinley, Linda Prevost, Margaret Celestine all of Mansura; brothers, Edward Sampson of Mansura, Joseph Sampson of Parona, CA, Merlin Sampson of Los Angeles, CA, Horace Sampson of Las Vegas; sisters, Mary Dupas of Mansura, Marie Barton of Marksville and Madeline Lacour of Alexandria. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
