Ronald Joseph Gauthier, 64 of Fifth Ward

Services for Ronald Joseph Gauthier will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in the chapel of Kramer of Fifth Ward with Rev. Keith LaMartiniere officiating. Interment will follow in LaMartiniere Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 and will resume on Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Ronald Joseph Gauthier, 64 of Fifth Ward, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015, at Grace Home.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Gauthier; his father, Ores Gauthier; his sister, Kathleen Stanley.
Ronald was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked for 16 years for the Paragon Casino; and for the Gerogia Pacific Forestry Mill. Ronald served as the Resident Council President for the Hessmer Nursing Home. He was a loving father and grandfather, who will be dearly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jamie Gauthier and his wife Constance of Hessmer, and Jessica Gauthier LeGrous and her husband Charles of Jennings; his grandchildren, Jordan, Luke and Brice Gauthier; his mother, Leeza Gauthier of Fifth Ward; his siblings, Terry Gauthier of Pollock, Glenn Gauthier and his wife Angela of Shreveport, Janis Lockwood and her husband Harold of Belledeau, Brenda Sharon and her husband Mike of Fifth Ward, and Pamela Gauthier of Hessmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
