Rebecca Marie LaCour age 60 of Fifth Ward

Rebecca Marie LaCour entered this life on January 31, 1956, to Herman Brouillette and Beulah Mae Kelone Brouillette; and departed this life at the age of 60, on Saturday, April 23, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Rebecca loved spending time with her family and her cats, Simba, Bonjangles and Sylvester. She also loved following her grandchildren to all of their sporting events.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert LaCour, Sr., of Fifth Ward; her daughter, Robin Williber (William) of Fifth Ward; her sons, Robert LaCour, Jr (Shelley) of Mansura, and Rhett LaCour (Danielle) of Belledeau; her 7 grandchildren, Haydn Williber, Ava Williber, Emma LaCour, Hunter LaCour, Carson LaCour, Damien LaCour, and Rylan Lacour; her siblings, Davis Brouillette (Kathy) of Brouillette, Bernadette Mayeux (Steven) of Alexandria, Darnette Lemoine (Paul) of Marksville, Dorothy Kelone of Marksville, and Dwight “Chip” Filipi (Kayla Marcotte) of Marksville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Rebecca Marie LaCour will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Fifth Ward, with Rev. Silverino Kwebuza, AJ officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery #2, Marksville, under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward.
Visitation will begin on Monday, April 25, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held in the Kramer Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
Pallbearers honored to serve were Robert LaCour, Jr., Rhett LaCour, William Williber, Haydn Williber, Davis Brouillette, Anthony LaCour, and Ferdinand LaCour, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter LaCour, Damien LaCour, Rylan LaCour, Carson LaCour, Emma LaCour, and Ava Williber.
