Nickie Lynn Ponthieux, age 34 of Marksville

Funeral services for Ms. Nickie Lynn Ponthieux will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Nickie Lynn Ponthieux, age 34 of Marksville, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2016 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mitchell Ponthieux, paternal grandfather Clarance Ponthieux, Jr., maternal grandfather, Nolan Lachney.

“As I came on this earth with great suffering, I leave it with great suffering. My gift to the world, God and Family are my four children. Now I go to be restored, body and soul, to my father in the Heavenly Realm.” In the name of Jesus and his precious blood. Amen.

Survivors include one son, Gannon Myers of Marksville, three daughters, Ally Buxton of Centerpoint, Allison Myers of Marksville, Candance Myers of Marksville, parents, Christine Ponthieux and Mark Ponthieux of Marksville and one brother, Patrick P. Ponthieux of Marksville, paternal grandmother Betty Barbin of Marksville, maternal grandmother, Sylvia Wiley of Marksville.

Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, on Sunday, November 27, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services on Monday.
