COTTONPORT - Funeral services for Mary Marjorie James Hebert will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 beginning at 2 p.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church in Cottonport. Burial will take place in St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Mansura. Services arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held at Escude' Funeral Home of Cottonport beginning at 9 a.m. until time of service.
Mary Hebert, age 73, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. She was born on August 17, 1943.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Sidney and Mary Adeline (Eaglin) Hebert; sons, Joseph Lloyd James and Joseph Lorris James; daughter Yvette Marie James; eight siblings, Louis Roy Hebert, Joseph Lloyd Hebert, Joseph Floyd Hebert, Paul John Hebert, Mary Viola H. Edwards, Mary Eva Dell P. Lonzo, Mary Audrey H. Edwards and Mary Irene Hebert.
She is survived by her children, Lonest James Jr., Anna Faye James Davis, and Serada Mary Fox; sister, Linda H. Smith; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
