Funeral services for Jack V. Clark, Jr. will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Bayou Jack Church of Christ with Rev. David Broussard officiating. Burial will follow in the Bayou Jack Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Visitation will be at the Bayou Jack Church of Christ on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 8 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Clark, age 57, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at his mother's residence in Plaucheville. He was a former security guard at the Avoyelles Correctional Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack V. Clark, Sr. and two brothers, Rodney Clark and Clay Clark.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years,Debra Mayberry Clark of Bayou Jack; his mother, Sylvia Brassette Clark of Plaucheville and eight furry companions, Dakota, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Apache, Comanche, Shoshone, Lakota and Cree.
