Earl Joseph Lachney, age 80, of Denham Springs

Graveside services for Earl Joseph Lachney will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Lamartiniere Cemetery in Fifth Ward with Reverend Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Lachney, age 80, of Denham Springs, passed away at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson, LA on Sunday, August 23, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Eliza Michot Lachney and wife of 53 years, Betty Lachney.

He is survived by 3 sons, Lyndon Lachney of Baton Rouge, Randy Lachney of Taiwan, Elander Lachney (Shelly) of Denham Springs, 1 daughter, Sharon Lachney of Denham Springs and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 9:00 a.m. until shortly before funeral service.
