Donald James Davis, age 62, of Bunkie

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bunkie for Mr. Donald James Davis 62, who passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at his residence in Bunkie, LA. Interment will be in Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
Father Scott Chemino of St. Anthony Catholic Church will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Davis is survived by: his wife, Thesia Wiley Davis of Bunkie, LA; three sons, Kendrick Wiley (Gena) of Spring, TX, Jason Davis of Hedgesville, West Virginia and DeAndre Davis of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Dowell Davis (Barbara) of Washington, D.C.; five sisters, Lucy Jones (Irvin) of Laccasine, LA, Lena Comeaux (Johnny) of Basile, LA, Neely Johnson of Houston, TX, Theresa Washington (Jenkins) of Gaithersburg, MD and Agnes Williams (Roger) of Missouri City, TX; three grandchildren, Kendalin Dream, Kensington Diamond and Kharrington Wyndsor; a special daughter, Shelly Roman of Hedgesville, West Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Willie Andrew Davis and Agnes M. Prejean Davis; two brothers, Byron Davis and Vincent ìCheeseî Davis; and two sisters, Rosa Jane Woodard and Mary Nell Davis.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
