Bella Landry Gauthier age 104 of Cottonport

Funeral services for Bella Landry Gauthier of Cottonport will be held on January 2, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cottonport beginning at 12pm. Visitation will also be that day at the church from 11am until the time of service. Interment will commence at the St. Mary #2 Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Bella L. Gauthier, age 104, passed away peacefully at Rivere de Soleil in Mansura on Friday, December 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Silvio Gauthier; son, Donald Gauthier; parents William & Mathilde Falcon Landry; and eight sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her son; John Gauthier & wife Carolyn of Cottonport; daughter-in-law, Joyce Gauthier of Carriere, MS; nine grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and seventeen great-great-grandchildren. She was loved by all for her tales of life over her decades. She was the family originator of many handmade quilts for each generation. She will sadly be missed and remembered by all.
