Adene Sellers Didier, 96, a native of Marksville, and a resident of Thibodaux

Adene Sellers Didier, 96, a native of Marksville, LA and a resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at University Baptist Church in Thibodaux, LA from 9:00 am to 10:30 am with religious services beginning at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A reception will be held at the church fellowship hall. Left to remember her are her three children, Dolcie Dene Didier Cazedessus and husband Eugene "Lad," Cherie Didier Cole and husband Eddie, and Raymond "Chip" Didier, Jr. and wife Patricia Dupont. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Erin Cazedessus, Craft Cazedessus, Matthew Cazedessus, Merritt Cazedessus Lorey, Chandler Tullis, Cason Tullis, Allison Didier Leake, Aimee Didier Angle, Rebecca Didier McGaw, and Rae Didier Broussard. Adene was presceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Didier; parents, Grover Sellers and Mary Louise Furlow Sellers; siblings, Winston Sellers, Van Skeet Sellers, Shirley Sellers Fuqua, and Lydia Sellers Smith. Pallbearers will be Eugene "Lad" Cazedessus, Eddie Cole, Matthew Cazedessus, Chandler Tullis, Cason Tullis, and Baron Cazedessus. Adene was born in Marksville, LA, the eldest of five siblings. She grew up there with her sweetheart and husband, Coach Raymond E. Didier, Sr. Her life was full with family, friends, and her love of bridge. She was always ready to deal the cards! What a wonderful way to live. Her family would like to thank all of her friends for the amazing outpouring of love and support. Thank you for letting her enjoy a full life among you.
