Marksville Man Jailed after Stabbing at Bunkie Night Club

According to Sheriff Anderson, Terrance Sampson B/M 21 years old of Trisha Park Marksville was jailed early Saturday evening for allegedly stabbing another man in the parking lot of Chocolate City a Bunkie Night Club located at 1908 Highway 29 East Bunkie.
Sheriff Anderson said a fight on the parking lot of the night club escalated to the point where Sampson brandished a small knife and allegedly stabbed another man five times in the upper torso area who was hospitalized with non-life threating injuries.
Sheriff Anderson said his investigators arrested and booked Sampson into Detention Center 1, early Saturday evening for Attempted Manslaughter, where he remains under a 100,000.00 Bond.
Sheriff Anderson continued to say this is the second violent incident in as many weeks which has occurred at the Bunkie Night Club. Sheriff Anderson said on March 26th, Bunkie Hospital officials notified the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s office of a gunshot victim from the same night club. Anderson continued the incidents were similar in nature where a fight escalated to acts of violence. Anderson also noted that both acts of violence were reported by hospital officials and not by Chocolate City Night Club management. Sheriff Anderson also said his Detectives are continuing to process evidence, and are interviewing persons of interest in the shooting incident.
