Marksville High celebrates Homecoming this week

Homecoming activities for 2016 at Marksville High School will begin Monday and end with a dance on Saturday.
The week will feature different themes for dress on each day. Students must wear their school uniform pants on ALL days.
The themes are “Movie Monday” -- dress like a favorite character from a movie; “Mismatched Tuesday” -- wear polka dots with stripes, different color socks, etc.; “Way Back Wednesday” -- let your favorite decade be your guide; “Camo Thursday” -- we are hunting Mustangs, wear camouflage; “Spirit Day Friday” -- support the Tigers by wearing purple and gold.
The Homecoming parade will be Thursday with line up at 5:30 p.m. on Waddil Street in the auditorium and gym parking lot.
The annual bonfire will be held at the football field following the parade.

The Homecoming football game will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Warren Douglas Memorial Stadium as the MHS Tigers play the Avoyelles High Mustangs. Presentation of the homecoming court will be at 6:30 p.m.
The homecoming dance will be held in the gymnasium on Saturday. The dance for middle school students will be from 5-7:30 p.m. The high school dance will be from 8-11 p.m.
