Thibodaux-A Celebration of Life for Adene Sellers Didier will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at University Baptist Church in Thibodaux from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with religious services beginning at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A reception will be held at the church fellowship hall.
Adene Sellers Didier, 96, a native of Marksville, and a resident of Thibodaux passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
Adene was born in Marksville, the eldest of five siblings. She grew up there with her sweetheart and husband, Coach Raymond E. Didier, Sr. Her life was full with family, friends, and her love of bridge. She was always ready to deal the cards! What a wonderful way to live.
Left to remember her are her three children, Dolcie Dene Didier (Eugene “Lad”) Cazedessus, Cherie Didier (Eddie) Cole and Raymond “Chip” (Patricia Dupont) Didier, Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Erin Cazedessus, Craft Cazedessus, Matthew Cazedessus, Merritt Cazedessus Lorey, Chandler Tullis, Cason Tullis, Allison Didier Leake, Aimee Didier Angle, Rebecca Didier McGaw, and Rae Didier Broussard.
Adene was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Didier; parents, Grover Sellers and Mary Louise Furlow Sellers; siblings, Winston Sellers, Van Skeet Sellers, Shirley Sellers Fuqua, and Lydia Sellers Smith.
Pallbearers will be Eugene “Lad” Cazedessus, Eddie Cole, Matthew Cazedessus, Chandler Tullis, Cason Tullis, and Baron Cazedessus.
